5 tips before you hit the PB Bars

Posted by ThePacificBeach.com on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 Under: Pacific Beach Stays
Hi guys,
There are a lot of tourists and new 21 year olds every weekend in Pacific Beach so to help you out, here are 5 tips before you head out to the bars.

1. Remember, the bars close in San Diego at 1:45am so you can't drink all night. Get a hotel room so you have a safe place to stay. Don't drink and drive. See hotels in PB here. http://arestravel.com/4543_hotel-list.html?locationID=m76

2. Don't go to the bars alone, especially if you're a girl. Have a good buddy system and make sure you agree that no one is left alone. You either go home together or stay out together. Don't get taken advantaged of.

3. Get a designated driver. If you're not going to spend the night in Pacific Beach then you'll need to have a designated driver where the driver does not drink alcohol. Be smart about it. You don't want to get locked up because you decided to drink and drive. It is also expensive to pay the fine, a pain to go to court and you could kill someone.

4. Drink a lot of water. Every time you take a shot, drink a glass of water. This will help you control your pace and also not get a hang over the next morning.

5. Leave your debit card at home. People often lose things when they drink too much. I've had friends who lost their ID, debit card and phone because they forgot where they left them or someone snatched them when they weren't looking. It's easier to get your money back due to fraud from a credit card than a debit card, where it's real money (your money).Bring a credit card instead and leave the debit card at home. Pay back the credit card when the statement comes so you're not getting charged for not paying on time. It's no big deal.
