April 1, 2023 (Sat) - Eggstravaganza Underwater Egg Hunt by Plunge San Diego in Mission Beach between 9:30AM - 12PM. There are different sessions for children and for adults. This costs money, which you pay Plunge.  As of March 30th morning when I checked, there were 22 General Admission tickets left. You can buy tickets from Plunge San Diego Reservation Page. This is now the most popular bar in Pacific Beach after PB Bar and Grill closed down. Right by the water of the beach with good happy hour specials and good food, you'll find a lot of fun crowds here for a good time. It's also a great place to watch a sports game.

JRDN at Tower 23

Inside the Tower 23 Hotel is a very beautiful beachfront restaurant called JRDN. They have an extensive wine menu, a large bar in front to serve you cocktails and beers and best of all, they have a fantastic view. You can sit in the patio and watch the waves. Below is a view you can expect sitting from inside the restaurant, next to the bar.

FireHouse American Eatery & Lounge

Make this your last stop between 10PM - 11 PM. Dress to impress. They have a rooftop and a dance floor that opens around that time on the weekends. If you have time for dinner beforehand, the food here is actually really decent! Regular events include Tamales Tuesdays and College Night Thursdays.

PB Shore Club 

Located on Ocean Blvd with the view of the ocean, this place is very popular for the college crowd. They have events going on year round. It's a very beach casual atmosphere. They have gold fish races every Wednesday night!

Top Bars to Watch the SDSU Aztec games in Pacific Beach


1. Duck Dive on Mission Ave- They have a lot of monitors and a lot of alumnus as well as SDSU students that hang out there as well

2. Bub's on Garnet Ave - This is a great dive bar with great food. They play the Aztec games as well.

3. Cabo Cantina on Garnet Ave - I actually suggest this place over Bub's. It's right next door too. They have a lot of monitors but their bathroom sucks! Big time! So if you pee a lot, stay away from here or go to Sinbad's to pee and then come back.
