Posted by ThePacificBeach.com on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, In : Bars
Amazingly, I get a lot of visitors trying to find out what are the best bars to find a hook up in Pacific Beach. Okay, you crazy people. Here they are.

Best Bars on the weekends for a hook up:

Mavericks (formerly where Pacific Beach Bar & Grill was located) - Located centrally near many others bas and restaurants, Mavericks is upbeat, with a full food menu (by a certain time) and opens late. Late in San Diego is until all the bars have to close by a certain time. It feels like a night club in t...

Tourism Etiquette for Pacific Beach from your local resident

Posted by ThePacificBeach.com on Monday, January 9, 2012,
Pacific Beach is known to have a lot of visitors, tourists to be exact, visiting us every day. What pains me is when they are very rude or have no respect for residents who actually LIVE here and are a part of their experience.

Not everyone who walks around in PB is a tourist but there is a lot. I'm a native San Diegan and Pacific Beach is my home. Here are some suggested etiquette, if you don't mind reading on.

Mimosa, Man-mosa and Kid-mosa! All alcoholic

Posted by ThePacificBeach.com on Monday, January 9, 2012,
Most have heard of Mimosas, which is orange juice mixed with champagne, but have you heard of the new Man-mosa and Kid-mosa?

Well, a friend of mine made up Kid-mosa but Man-mosa, from what I heard has been around recently.

2. I do an afternoon jog under the sun along the Pacific Beach boardwalk for 3 miles. Then after a nice shower, find a cute dress to fit into that makes me feel fantastic.
3. I meet up with close friends for happy hour sushi at Zen5 and then get bombed after 4 sake bombs.
4. Then, after the sake bombs, my friends and I woul...

Some things will never change about me as an under 30 professional

Posted by ThePacificBeach.com on Thursday, January 5, 2012,
I'm 28 years old now. Sometimes I think I should upgrade myself like dress more like a lady, act more my age or talk more eloquently.

I'm not sure if it'll be in the near future when those changes take place but here are some habits I have that I really like to not change:

1. Carrying my work lap top in my back pack. Yes, I bring a back pack to work every day. It probably makes me look more like a student than a professional but it makes more sense to me because I like to keep everything: note...

I ate my first piece of 8 Godiva Chocolate from the box my sweet boyfriend gave me. We've been together for a little bit over a year and this is our 2nd Christmas together. Both times, he surprised me with a box of Godiva Chocolate in my stocking.

He's so sweet. If you want your girlfriend to feel special and classy, you get her a box of Godiva Chocolate.
